Jo Tricker and the Flame!

Glass is a very challenging medium. It requires persistency and a large amount of dogged determination!! When flameworking - a single work can take up to two hours on the torch, depending on its form and complexity - and then it needs some 'cooking' time in a kiln.

When kilnforming - different shapes, designs and dimensions each require their own unique techniques and heating cycles. Sometimes there are lots of trials to get the desired end result!

I aim to enhance each new work I make - every consecutive piece resulting in something better and more beautiful!
